Festival

The only festival of traditional jazz music (like Dixieland, Jazz Manouche, Swing, New-Orleans-Jazz, Stride) in Austria also includes the Styrian landscape, cuisine and conviviality: therefore, in addition to the international concerts in the Kunsthaus Weiz, the program also includes a “Swinging Alm Breakfast” and the “New Orleans Street Music Festival” in the city center of Weiz, concerts and sessions in the courtyards, bars and pubs. The annual dance highlight of the festival – the Lindy Hop dance festival with The Lindy Cats (AUT) – takes over the city center every year as part of the New Orleans Street Music Festival.
